My First Try on HDRI

Lets take a look on the application of HDRI image on my Persona Estate. I am still trying to increase the background resolution. But i think it may work if I tweak it using Photoshop.

Still running in Mental Ray. It is nothing wrong about this Persona Estate except it has no door handle. Hahahaha.

Proton Persona Estate

This car is never been exist in real life. What you are going to see is a 'mixture of chemicals reaction'. From a piece of spline, drawn on the white background in Adobe Illustrator, transferred into three dimensional workstation and finally, voila...

Introducing the Persona Estate.

If you see carefully, you will see this  Persona has a big adaptation from Honda cars. You can see a mixture of Honda CRV, Stream and City model being 'paste carefully' onto the model. Shoulder line has been adjust to be wider as BMW.

The model actually is not finished yet. I purposely not to show you the front end of this car. It's very awful. hehe.

I have made Brembo Caliper for this wagon. Look carefully.

Theoretically New Proton Sedan 2010

My latest render on the unknown model. This is actually derived from the very famous Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. The front end was design theoretically similar to the new Proton Sedan.





Equipped with new wheel arc, chrome finished 10 spokes wheel cap match with matte black finished alloy rim. Complete with nuts and here comes my latest approach on tire material finishing.As for the result, you can see the TOYO brand clearly.

New Chassis Available. Guess What?...


Salam..I managed to complete another 3d artwork of mine. As you can see, that was a new 3d model done by me. It was develop by using improved modeling skills and rendered by Vray 1.5 SP2 renderer..

This is one of the best models i ever built. But I am still learning..

Persona GT in Vray 1.5 SP2 Renderer

Salam..I just get play around with Vray in my 3DS Max 2009. Instead of Mental Ray renderer, I try for the first time to render my Persona GT with Vray 1.5 SP2. So, I think, not bad for a beginner like me to get those picture. Haha.

Owh, look at the C-pillar of this Persona. That should be a beautiful curve, not that very awful sharp edge. Poor modeling skill of mine.

Next picture was rendered by me to discover a 'bump' effect on the material. This also rendered using Vray. The bump is coupled with nappa leather mapping and a red + dark red 'fall of' diffuse color. Sorry, poor lighting setup for this picture.

Render of Fridz's Design

Salam..I just get some knowledge from reader Animous to set daylight system in my 3d model. As for the result, I managed to get play with it. And for this column, Lets take a look on 3 of my models combined in one frame and rendered with Daylight System.

The Aygo model seems like too big refer to Savvy and Mazda size. Very sorry about that.

Mazda Demio in 3ds Max Layout

While waiting my final Mazda Demio render, I would like to share with you the 3ds Max 2009 interface. Now you can see the model development is only at the left side. But after using symmetry application, the both left and right side is built in a flash. The usefulness of symmetry application is to reduce error while developing the model and for sure to save our time.






The blueprint is taken out from the scene and symmetry is applied. I always locate my model at X=Y=Z=0 coordination. And the object gizmo is been adjusted a bit.






This is the box model that’s not been detailed out. Look like Proton’s Savvy a bit.







The mazda with default skylight render. I set the raytrace material for the body paint, a small amount of reflection.







Final render with energy orange. The surface looks very uneven. This may result from the inaccurate line and edge drawing while in the development stage. I use default render with mr omni area lighting setup.

New Aygo-based model from me

Merupakan artwork terkini saya yang diolah bulat2 daripada model Toyota Aygo,Peugeot 107 dan Citroen C1 (yang dipasang oleh syarikat TPCA)..

Sedikit olahan pada bahagian belakang dan depan model bagi disesuaikan dengan pandangan mata saya sendiri, redesigned rear dan front bumper, rear combi light dan cargo hood yang direka semula..(tanpa menyentuh sedikitpun bahagian sisi model ini yang menampakkan ciri2 typical model yang asal)

Target rekaan adalah untuk tema kereta kompak atau city car. Saya akan tampilkan 2 varian untuk model ini.mungkin yang sedikit sporty dan satu lagi bolehlaa dikatakan model asas tanpa aksesori (baseline).

Nampaknya artwork kali ini saya gagal menyuntik ciri-ciri eropah. Ya,cubaan yang gagal. saya akan cuba lagi.LAIN KALI.hehe

Nota: Kali ini saya mengaplikasikan teknik Inset dan Extrude untuk mendapatkan kesan lebih realistik pada sambungan rear combi dan cargo hood. Render akhir akan saya paparkan kemudian..Wsalam

Berikut adalah render yang telah saya buat.(maaf,terlupa nk buat line pintu dan door handle,kereta ni masuk ikut bonet barangkali.hehe)
